Vuzix announces the World’s First Orthopedic Navigation System Using Augmented Reality Smart Glasses developed by Pixee Medical

Pixee Medical, a France-based medical company, has received CE marking certification for Knee+, the first orthopedic navigation system using augmented reality smart glasses for total knee arthroplasty.

Pixee Medical has got a CE marking certification for Knee+, a navigation system that help surgeons in total knee arthroplasty. The system use a Vuzix’ M400 Smart Glasses for visualization. This certification is a condition to the opening of the European Union market. The next step for the company will be the FDA certification to use Knee+ in USA at the end of 2020.
